The Documentary Into The Grim Fandango Remake Is On Steam Now

Double Fine has a bit of a track record when it comes to behind-the-scenes videos, so it’s not much of a surprise to see this pop up over the last 24 hours.

It’s a three-part documentary into the making of Grim Fandango Remastered, where the Double Fine developers (much in the same vein as the Double Fine Adventure series, which you can watch on YouTube) discuss the making an ongoing remaking of the LucasArts classic.

The three episodes are the same as what was uploaded to YouTube at the beginning of last year, although its release on Steam coincides with the game being part of January’s PS+ titles. If you’d like to add the documentaries to your Steam account, you can do so via this link or directly through Steam.

Alternatively, if you’d prefer to watch the series on YouTube you can go to the playlist on the Double Fine channel. Schafer always has some interesting quips and tidbits whenever he’s on camera that make it worth a watch, and the Grim Fandango videos are short enough (just over 30 minutes for all three episodes) that you can enjoy them in your lunch break.
