Comments

  • 5 and 6 were complete tripe, 4 is a classic that I’m happy to play again even though it’s been ported to every platform on Earth.

    • 5 was an okay coop game, but it wasn’t a good Resident Evil game. 6 was just a bad game altogether.

  • I had crazy amounts of fun with RE5 I don’t understand the hate. Although I olny ever played co-op. But there was one time we almost punched on, during the Jill/Wesker fight. Good times

  • So this’ll be the… maybe third time I’ve bought RE4. Have my GC discs still, but got it on the PS3. If only they went the Wii option and offered a discounted copy for those people who already own it.

  • 4 was (and still is) amazing.
5 was too much action and barely any suspense. Plus I was only able to enjoy it playing co-op, as the AI Sheva was horrible. It is extremely fun playing co-op, but it took any remaining suspense and chucked it out the window.
6 was just pure garbage. I only played 3 hours of it before I shelved it permanently and traded it towards something better.

  • As long as they don’t fuck up the port I’d consider buying RE4 again. Although I still have it plugged in to my shame I rarely can be bothered turning on my PS3 anymore. My entire library languishes unused. 🙁 This includes RE4 HD. Having it on the newer console might entice me to play through again.

Resident Evil 6 is a disgrace though.

Resident Evil 5 is a good co-op game. But I think me and my best mate played it to death already. Unlike RE4 I don’t see any further value to be gained from that game. It was well worth it (over 200 hours on my end) but yeah. I’m done.
