For years now, people have been building amazing creations in Minecraft. But in Japan, people don’t need Minecraft to make cool constructions. Thank Minecraft clone, Dragon Quest Builders for that.
Via 2ch and Hachima, people have been sharing impressive creations they have made in Builders. “I’ve seen better in Minecraft,” you might say, and I have, too, but remember, this game was just released on January 28 in Japan. Once folks have more time with it, their buildings will get even better.
For now, this is a damn good start.

Modded Minecraft + Shaders + High Res Skins – Mining = Dragon Builders
No wonder it only has a Japanese release. M$’s lawyers would have a field day.
You are aware that Minecraft doesn’t hold the trademark for sandbox-based building games, right? If they actually infringed on anything MS owned then they’d be in trouble but the similarities that the game shares aren’t something you can own.
Huh? Ms don’t own any kind of patent on block building game, let alone one that looks like another game once modded.
You can’t copyright a game. Clones exist because they’re perfectly legal.
I’d love this game, especially if the mobs are all Dragon Quest themed
Meh, very tired of this stuff. Minecraft was the right thing at the right time to go big, nothing similar was out there, it had unique crafting and gaming on YouTube was just taking off.
Doing the same thing now is pointless, same as kids trying to start Minecraft based YouTube channels.
