Manga Hunter X Hunter Is Actually Returning

Manga Hunter X Hunter Is Actually Returning

The last time manga Hunter x Hunter appeared in Weekly Jump was 2014. It’s now 2016, and the manga (and its creator Yoshihiro Togashi) will finally return. Hooray!

According to ShonenJump.com, a teaser site reads 連載再開 (rensai saikai or, literally, “serialisation resuming”) and 遂に動き出す!(tsuini ugoki dasu or, basically, “Finally, it’s getting going!” or “Finally, movement commences!”). The teaser also mentions the Dark Continent Arc, which is excellent news for eager fans.

Togashi is infamous for taking time off, and Hunter x Hunter has gone on hiatus numerous times.

More details will be revealed in the upcoming issue of Weekly Jump, which is on sale March 19 in Japan.
