But behold, here is genuine made-in-Japan cardboard samurai armour. The dark armour is patterned after Date Masamune's, while the red is designed after Sanada Yukimura's armour.
According to IT Media, each adult-sized set is priced at 2980 yen ($35), which might be cheap or expensive, depending on what you think about buying cardboard cosplay.

These outfits go on sale this month in Japan, joining kiddy versions that launched late last spring.
