Minecraft As American Political Commentary

Minecraft As American Political Commentary

Dayshot: Today, courtesy of a Minecraft map, we get a glimpse of a grim future brought on by an economic crisis, which started shortly after Donald Trump became President of the United States.

Made by PlanetMinecraft’s Jossieboy, the map, titled “No Future”, is his way to deliver commentary on today’s political climate. As he put it:

This project is a little more than just a build. It is my way of delivering some critique to the current political situation in the U.S. And I know this is just a game to many, but it can be so much more.

This build depicts a homeless man, who’s been struck by the economical crisis that would follow if Trump would be president. So if you could share this build with people, that would be fantastic, as well as just give some thought (if you live in the U.S. that is) who you would vote for in the upcoming 2016 election, because Trump as president, would be horrible for, not just the U.S., but the world.

And here are the in-game shots I took. It’s a huge build, so there’s a lot to look at, and the individual objects are well-realised. A very competent project overall, even if you take away the political commentary.
