Mother 3 Is Ten Years Old Today And Is Still Japan-Only

Today, on 20 April 2006, Mother 3 was released on the Game Boy Advance in Japan. Ten years! Can you believe it? That’s good reason to celebrate.

Oh, and it still doesn’t have an official English release. Can you believe that?

Fans in Japan and around the world have been uploading art and photos to the Twitter hashtag #mother3_10th to celebrate the game’s anniversary, and also to pester Nintendo for the long overdue official English release. As reported earlier this year, the Mother 3 release rumours have been getting intense.

Lots of memories! I remember playing the game on my Game Boy Micro and bringing it with me to E3 2006 so many, many years ago. Ten years ago, in fact.
