The Classic Version Of Battlestar Galactica Is Returning To Comics

Over the past few years, Dynamite Comics has been released several miniseries based on both the classic and reimagined versions of Battlestar Galactica — but now they’re trying again with an entirely new series set in the timeline of the original TV show.

Written by Cullen Bunn (Harrow County, Micronauts) and with art from Alex Sanchez (Katana, Mad Max: Ride) and Daniela Miwa, the “all-new” series — unknown as to whether it’s a miniseries or a complete ongoing book — sees Commander Adama and the crew of the Galactica discover a cosmic mystery beyond the edge of reality in their ongoing quest for a new home. Naturally, this leads to bad things happening and the Galactica and her fleet on the run, because it wouldn’t really be Battlestar Galactica without that, would it?
