This Week In Games: Fire Emblem Is Finally Here In Australia!

After a humongous week last week, things have slowed down a little. Still, guess what! We get Fire Emblem Fates this week! It’s only three or four months late, but whatevs!

Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright/Conquest (3DS)

What is it? It’s Fire Emblem, like three months too late.
Should you care? These games are great. But it’s insane how long it’s taken to get here.

Homefront: The Revolution (Xbox One/PS4/PC)

What is it? Yes, a Homefront game is coming out this week! Surprise!
Should you care? I’m actually very keen to see how this reviews.

LASTFIGHT

What is it? It’s like a quasi-retro 2v2 fighter with a unique art-style. Pays homage to old school arcade fighters.
Should you care? Looks really polished, and I actually haven’t played a game like this in a while. Maybe it’s due a revival.

Mimic Arena (PC)

What is it? A bullet hell shooter thing that lets you play with your past selves!
Should you care? It looks great and such a cool concept. One of the real sleepers this week I think.

Retool (PC)

What is it? A 3D hacking puzzle game.
Should you care? This looks interesting. You actually control an avatar, it’s not a literal hacking simulator. Very interesting.

Rugby League Live 3 (PS4)

What is it? It’s Rugby! Yay! Gets a digital release this week on PS4.
Should you care? Sure, why not. Especially if you’re into League.

Shadow of the Beast (PS4)

What is it? It’s a remake/re-imagining of the Amiga game.
Should you care? I was such a fan of the original I’m almost thinking about trying this!
