What It Looks Like When A Cosplayer Cosplays Another Cosplayer

Unless you follow Jessica Nigri, this costume design probably isn’t too familiar to you. That’s because it’s a custom humanised version (or gijinka) of WoW’s Deathwing, created for Jessica by an artist named Zach Fischer — though other cosplayers are now getting in on the sweet, dragony action.

Adelaide’s Zalaria Cosplay is one of them, with this stunning set appearing over the weekend from the talented Steamkittens.

The original artwork was commissioned from Zach Fischer Illustration, a talented artist with a knack for complicated armour, who’s found a bit of a niche for creating gorgeous, cosplayable versions of various creatures and characters for any cosplayer that wants to commission him.

Of course, this is all making cosplay just a little bit meta — when cosplayers end up cosplaying other cosplayers.

Zalaria has also shot some gorgeous images and footage of this costume with Adelaide’s I Got Superpowers.
