I assume because X-Men is on my mind, I dreamt that I was staying with Kevin Bacon in an American small town.
I could tell it was a murder mystery & sure enough the following day, the young lady that had come to visit was missing. The police were asking questions.
At this point I began to realise that Kevin was a small time crook that the police tolerated for certain favours. A sort of dodgy entrepreneur with morals.
Just when things started getting interesting I was woken up. We’d all slept through our alarms & my son was going to be late for school.
