Burger King is out of control and doesn’t care who it hurts.
Being tested in select markets and soon rolling out across the US, Mac N’ Cheetos are deep-fried macaroni and cheese sticks with Cheetos breading. To put it in old, worn-out meme terms, they heard you liked cheese, so they put cheese in their cheese. Also macaroni. Whatever.
They’re basically Burger King’s answer to Taco Bell’s Doritos Locos Tacos, born of a partnership between BK and Frito-Lay. Unlike the Doritos Locos Tacos, which have become a mainstay of Taco Bell’s menu, the Mac N’ Cheetos are a limited release, lasting eight weeks or while supplies last. That should give people plenty of time to make bad decisions.
Speaking to Bloomberg, Burger King North American president (how can a king have a president?) Alex Macedo threatens that this will not be the last collaboration between fast food royalty and big snack chip.
“We’re working on a few other menu items,” Macedo said. “There’s room for us to do more together in the future.”
Snacktaku guess this means it will have to go to Burger King for the first time since those hot dogs came out earlier this year.
Mac n’ Cheetos go live throughout the US on June 27.

I can see stomach aches from here.
On a somewhat related note, if that’s the promo photo they are going to look astonishingly disgusting in person, I’m a little amazed that the promo shot is already this unappealing.
Edit: I found a review from this guy, I’ve watched a bunch of his videos and still can’t quite tell if he’s joking or not. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zz06BDg-Tzc
Yeah haha. Fast food pics are out of control. I was suckered into a new KFC Filler, a delicious looking chicken sub with spicy sauce. What I unwrapped looked like an old vagina with lettuce and yellow paste dripping out of it. If food had emotions, this sanga was suicidal.
He’s the king of food reviews. That’s a deep rabbit hole you’re on the precipice of. Once you watch one of his videos you’ll need to watch 40 more.
I’ve been subbed for a while actually. Even though I rarely eat the sort of food he reviews (and most isn’t even available in Australia anyway) I still watch the occasional video, I find his content, style and presentation baffling and he’s either a comedic genius or a serious food critic with a strange style (and a horrible diet). I don’t know what it is, but the mystery as to whether or not he’s serious is very appealing.
He’s a culinary enigma.
Can’t wait, this shit is my life!
Is this coming to Hungry Jacks? Or… Unrelated?
I assume we have top men working right now to protect us from this sort of thing. Top. Men.
These look pretty good. I’ve had mac-cheese fingers from a local pub before and the biggest problem was probably the lack of bite to the flavour. There’s also a local burger joint that does all stoner food and one of their burgers has cheeto cheese sauce on it, it’s pretty good.
They’ve ripped this idea from @TheVulgarChef. Dudes not happy about it. Oh well, thats big business for you. Unless you’re gonna trademark it, can’t complain.
This has been a home recipe for ages, pretty much since cheeto cheese sauce was invented.
I only saw it for the first time in Vulgar Chefs feed this morning after all of his followers were up in arms over it. I think I’ve had Mac n Cheese once in my life. I’d never have thought to do this.
Fair enough. One of my local pubs had basically this except normal crumb instead of cheetos on their menu for years, just a bit plain flavoured. The cheetos would have given it a good bite.
I’ve a few bags of these cheetos in my time, and can attest to their hot factor. Would be a delicious snack indeed.
I had some pulled beef mac n’ cheese deep fried sticks the other day… and was bloody amazing. I’d be all over this shit!
