Jon Snow Is The Pouty Face Of The Enemy In Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare

Jon Snow Is The Pouty Face Of The Enemy In Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare

After years of portraying a heroic bastard on Game of Thrones, Kit Harington takes a turn at being a right bastard as the villain of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Harington is “the face of the enemy” in the next CoD, which drops in Novemeber. The marketing office of Activision says Harington’s addition to the cast shows off the game’s powerful story line.

OK, sure, but how hard will it be for all of us to think of Jon Snow as the bad guy? Not that hard if you’ve seen images like this, I suppose.

This isn’t Harington’s first foray into the gaming world: he voiced Snow in Telltale’s Game of Thrones series. He also played Vincent Cooper in Silent Hill: Revelation, the 3D horror film adaptation of Silent Hill 3, though he tried to play the game and got really, really scared.

Bonus fun fact: Sean Bean was in that movie, too and actually managed not to die.

The Call of Duty Facebook admins posted a behind-the-scenes video of Snow — er, Harington — on the motion capture set. Warning: once you see him in a goofy grey leotard, you can never go back.

We’ll be seeing more of the game at E3 this week, and hopefully learning more about player character Captain Reyes.
