It would be a quiet week if it wasn’t for goddamn LEGO STAR WARS DROPPING IN! Thank you Star Wars. Thank you for helping parents worldwide find something halfway decent to do with out kids for the next six months. You have delivered us from jigsaws, toy cars and Play-Doh. For that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
7 Days to Die (Xbox One/PS4/PC)
What is it? An open world survival horror game.
Should you care? This game has been in early access forever, but it finally hits consoles and gets a full PC release this week.
Grand Kingdom (PS4/PS Vita)
What is it? It’s a tactical RPG from the land of Japan. Those are pretty popular these days.
Should you care? Seems to be pretty much ok. But yeah, not a must play.
Heart & Slash (PS4/360/PC)
What is it? A rogue-like slasher that started life on Kickstarter.
Should you care? Apparently it’s pretty damn decent. I love the name as well.
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Xbox One/PS4/Wii U/360/PS3/PS Vita/3DS/PC)
What is it? It’s the LEGO Star Wars game. On every goddamn platform ever released in the last 20 years.
Should you care? I think this looks good, and I plan on playing it with my kid.
Odin Sphere Leifthrasir (PS3)
What is it? Hey! The PS3 is getting a game this week. It’s a new Odin Sphere game!
Should you care? I remember the original Odin Sphere being pretty good, but I haven’t been keeping track since then.
Prison Architect (PS4)
What is it? Really unique, interesting game about building a prison. Came out on PC late last year.
Should you care? People seemed to love this game. Worth a try for sure.
The Technomancer (Xbox One/PS4/PC)
What is it? It’s a sci-fi RPG. I know very little about this game.
Should you care? From what I can gather it’s like an old school AA game. Remember those? Pretty solid, nothing special.
Did we miss anything? Picking anything up this week? Let us know in the comments.

Zero.
Time.
Dilemma.
ZERO.
TIME.
DILEMMA.
I HAVE WAITED SO LONG AND I’M READY FOR MY MIND TO BE SEVERELY MESSED WITH
But yeah it’s coming out tomorrow digitally only on 3DS and Vita. At least it should be if i’ve done my research right.
I really hope that Lego Dimensions picks up Star Wars and Marvel. It would be great playing that with the wife.
Holy shit TOMORROW??? When does the PSN store update????
Edit: meant to be a response to @grandmasterb-funk
Yeah, what’s the story on physical releases in stores for Zero Time Dilemma?
I think this could be a case of if a console game releases in Australia without so much as a fart of PR, does it actually release at all?
No one picked up the distributing rights for Europe so it’s only being released digitally here.
Cheers!
I wonder who is the distributor for the last two.
TBH I think I’ll wait on the new Star Wars LEGO game until the entire new trilogy is finished and they re-release them in one game.
Going to wait a bit for Lego SW to drop a lot in price, played the demo and got massively stuck in no less than two places. Nothing quite so demoralising than realising you suck at a kids game.
My SO and I tried it on the weekend and it was a bit frustrating. A bit too much going on to easily work out where to go or how. Green man gaming has it cheap so might get it for PC, cause the full price is a bit cheeky.
Both Odin Sphere and Grand Kingdom are the physical releases, the digital versions are already out.
Also out this week:
– Star Ocean 5 (PS4)
– As people have said, Zero Time Dilemma (3DS.Vita)
– Professional Farmer 2016 (PS4/XBOne)
Man, Square has me hyped for Star Ocean. I’d never even heard of the series before! But it looks real cool. I hope it turns out well.
Plus, that Japanese collectors editions looks bloody insane.
I’m more pumped for Lego Star Wars than a 36 year old man should be.
I’m even thinking of chucking a sickie for it.
Doesn’t it have extra story line content that is considered official canon too?
I’m pretty pumped for it. Though I’d love a proper remake of the original trilogy as well. That was a fantastic game.
And the wait for SUPERHOT on Xbox One continues
Odin Sphere is PS4 and Vita too, I wish Grand Kingdom was a bit cheaper i’m interested but not at $90
Inside?
