This Week In Games: E3 Equals Slim Pickings

Not a great week for new releases — but what did you expect? It’s E3 for crying out loud.

But there are a handful of games coming out this week. Literally a handful. You could probably fit them in one hand if you balanced them right.

Dead Island: Definitive Collection (Xbox One/PS4/PC)

What is it? It’s Dead Island. The old ones. But made prettier.
Should you care? Eh, nah. Probably not.

Envoy 2 (PC)

What is it? Some sort of sci-fi spooky thing set on a Mars space station. Yes I’m being reductive.
Should you care? It actually looks pretty incredible from a visual standpoint. Worth taking a look.

On Rusty Trails (PC)

What is it? A fast paced platformer ala Super Meat Boy.
Should you care? Looks nice and polished. People have been saying nice things about this one.

Pro Cycling Manager 2016 (PC)
What is it? A game about managing a cycling team I guess. It’s taking all of my willpower to not make a joke about performance enhancing drugs.
Should you care? I could slag this off, or I could recognise this is a niche game that serves niche interesting. I used to play football management games all the time.

Valentino Rossi: The Game (Xbox One/PS4)

What is it? It’s a Moto GP game. These games are few and far between.
Should you care? If you’re into Moto GP this is most likely as good as it gets.
