Battlefield 1 Beta Codes Are Being Sent Out

While there aren’t a great deal of big games releasing this week, one of this year’s biggest is having a beta. That game is Battlefield 1, and codes have started going out for the open beta as of now.

The open beta will be available to users on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It’s also the first opportunity Australians and New Zealanders will have to try out the game, after EA opted to restrict the closed beta due to limited server infrastructure.

Weirdly, Antarctica seems to have also been included to the closed beta this time around:

The official Battlefield Twitter account has been advising users who signed up to Battlefield Insider to keep an eye on their inbox. They’ll get a code and be able to play “the day before the beta opens to the public”, although from September 1 everyone on PC, PS4 and Xbox One will be able to play without registering beforehand.

Are you going to give the Battlefield 1 open beta a try? And what are you expecting from the game?
