Javier Culson is once again competing in the Olympic Games for Puerto Rico. And he is once again showing off his cleverly themed Olympic Sonic tattoo.

During the 2012 Olympics, people noticed Javier‘s ink, and during this summer’s games, they’re noticing it, again.

Thematically, the tattoo is smart for a handful of reasons. One is that Javier is a runner, so having a Sonic tattoo fits perfectly, while another is that Sonic has appeared in a series of Olympic themed video games with Mario and friends. Also, his nickname is “Culsonic”, because he’s fast, winning bronze in the 400m hurdles at the 2012 London Olympics.
This Friday, he will race in the final for the men’s 400m hurdles, Sonic tattoo and all.

Is it just me or does it look like a 12 year old did that tattoo?
IOC should sue him for having the Olympics logo as a tattoo
