Video: Today marks the release of Mobius Final Fantasy, yet another ridiculously titled FF game that Square Enix is putting on mobile.
The game just went live, so I haven’t had much of a chance to check it out yet, but Square says it’s got “in-depth character customisation, ongoing live events and HD graphics that push the boundaries of the mobile platform”. Lovely. It’s also free-to-play with in-app purchases. You can grab it on iOS and Android.
Here’s the launch trailer. If you’re playing it, let me know what you think.

Nope. Not gonna.
it looks horrible until you get passed the tutorial, access the settings freely and max out the res and fps, but GOD does it eat your battery once you do
so far though its a fun little time waster with FF references
Typically awful and convoluted menu and game systems, but once you suffer through the tutorial constantly hijacking your game it feels good to play. Much better than Brave Exwhatever. FF Record Keeper is still the best FF mobile game by far though imo (it seems simple at first but when you get into the harder content the mechanics are complex and extremely satisfying).
