As Kotaku noted this week, The Daily Beast reported that Oculus Rift founder Palmer Luckey has been “secretly funding” Nimble America, which it called “an unofficial Donald Trump group dedicated to ‘shitposting’”. Today, Palmer has commented on Facebook about his involvement.
Here is Palmer’s statement in full:
The original article stated, “The 24-year-old told The Daily Beast that he had used the pseudonym ‘NimbleRichMan’ on Reddit with a password given to him by the organisation’s founders.”
As Kotaku reported today, several VR developers have decided to pull Oculus Rift support for their titles.

If you
a) donated money to these turds, and
b) are libertarian
then you most definitely do not care about “fair play” or “equal treatment”. What a great laugh it would be to see his arrogance be the demise of this pointless company.
Libertarianism, the mental illness of choice for the affluent.
Can you elaborate? I’m genuinely interested. It seems quite a reasonable political philosophy to me.
Donate to whomever you like I am still salty that they sold out to facebook.
I am yet to meet a Libertarian that isn’t a shitposter.
pointless company? really? you think much?
