Nintendo Is Having A Presentation About The Switch In January

Want to know more about the Nintendo Switch? Good, because so does everyone else. And fortunately, Nintendo this time are at least giving everyone a decent heads up.

In an announcement on Twitter and via a press release, the company says that it will unveil “major details regarding the … Nintendo Switch” in a global livestream on January 12. That’s US time, so it’ll probably be broadcast around 1:00 AM/2:00 AM here, much like the Switch reveal.

The release also confirms that Nintendo will announce the price and launch date for the hybrid console, as well as “the lineup of games currently in development”.

“Kimishima also announced that Nintendo Switch sampling events for invited media, partners, and consumers will take place in the U.S. and Europe after the presentation at later dates,” Nintendo added.

  • Awesome, a solid date to look forward too.

Hoping to see Pikmin 4, Animal Crossing, that new Mario game, details on the new Splatoon, Mario Kart details and long short – Yooka Laylee being available too.

  • BOO.

Why didn’t they double-down and properly make it for Friday the 13th???

  • I reaaally hope that in the meantime there’s at least a trickle of information. Otherwise it’s a long wait.

  • I’m looking forward to hearing when Nintendo will be announcing the launch date and available price for the Nintendo Switch next year I’m also hoping to see when Nintendo will be making a Mario 3D game Splatoon and even a new Mario Kart game for the Nintendo Switch as well looking forward to hearing more about the Nintendo Switch.
