The Galaxy Note7 saga continues, with a new report from South Korea citing unnamed sources saying that Samsung has temporarily stopped production of the troubled smartphone.
The Yonhap News Agency in South Korea, as picked up by Reuters, is reporting that Samsung has suspended production of the Galaxy Note7.
It comes after reported fires and overheating in replacement Note7 phones, including one incident with a 13-year-old girl and a Kentucky man who contracted acute bronchitis after his room filled with black smoke generated by an overheating replacement Note7.
That the decision to halt production was taken in conjunction with Chinese and United States authorities, according to the Yonhap report. An official announcement from Samsung, regarding shipments in Australia and elsewhere, is expected within the hour.

Phrasing!
Seriously, are we not doing phrasing any more?
Yeah it’s wasn’t looking good for them – perhaps we’re reaching the limits of how thin/small we can get these things
It wouldn’t have happened if they just removed the 3.5mm headphone jack.
