While Valve has shied away from gamifying its sales in recent years, GOG has embraced the concept with its “Monstrous Fall Sale”, currently up and running until November 13. To tempt you into spending your dollars so soon after Steam’s Halloween sale, GOG is offering customers the chance to “earn” three games, simply by snapping up bargains across its catalogue and collecting XP.
What three games, you may ask? It’s actually a nice selection: Expeditions Conquistador, Dex and Victor Vran. Expeditions is the cheapest at 5000XP, with a large jump to 15,000XP for Dex and finally, a chunky 30,000XP for Victor Vran.
If you’re not interested in emptying your bank account, you can get Little Big Adventure 2 for nothing just by signing into your GOG account and claiming your prize.
As for the rest of the sale, it’s the usual hunt for juicy discounts. Transistor looks the goods at $5.79, as does The Witcher 2 at for $3.99. GOG also has its “build a bundle” options that allow you to cherry pick discounts, including ones for Interplay and Telltale.
If spot anything good, please share!

How do you recommend games when they’re so diverse?
If you like Action RPGs Torchlight 1 and 2 are both $3 each. Bargain if you’re into that sort of thing.
Guacamelee and Spelunky both at great prices. well worth $3.09 and $2.29 respectively. even if you only play those games for an hour each that is money well spent.
