Steve Gaynor, co-founder of the Fullbright Company, tweeted that the game was temporarily free as a broader goodwill gesture:

That said: if anyone does choose to pay for the currently free download, Fullbright will donate the proceeds to a US legal service dedicated towards civil rights for LBGTQ people and those living with HIV.
