Here’s 5 New Screenshots From Cyanide’s Call of Cthulhu RPG

A Call of Cthulhu video game based on Chaosium’s pen-and-paper RPG of the same name is on the cards, but it’s been quite a few months since we heard anything new. While information remains scarce, we do have some fresh screenshots to share, showing off more of the title’s creepy ambience.

Lanterns, fog, disturbing interiors… Call of Cthulhu is currently checking all of the boxes.

If you’re wondering why guns or other weapons don’t make an appearance, they’ve never been a big focus in psychological horror games (just look at Frictional’s work). It also stays true to Chaosium’s P’n’P system, which discouraged combat with unfathomable cosmic beings that either devour you whole or drive you insane.
