Planet Coaster Just Got A Huge Free Update

Planet Coaster Just Got A Huge Free Update

Planet Coaster, a very good video game, just got a lot better thanks to a big “Winter Update” that’s both a patch and a upgrade, adding new stuff for your parks.

It’s a Paradox-style update, then, in that it combines what you expect to get fixed with what you’d expect other companies to charge for.

There are too many fixes to talk about here, so you should check them out at the full changelog (though the UI and camera tweaks sound the most promising).

The new stuff, though, is very cool. There are new staff features (hiring and placing multiple janitors and so on), four entirely new rides, three new scenarios, a new location (Arctic), seven new stores, a Christmas theme and 11 new coaster blueprints.

It’s already out.
