No matter what that infographic says, there is now way XC2 is out this year.
Sigh. No Pokemon. Dbl sigh.
Sun and Moon were /just/ released?
Not for console. Not a fan of small screen gaming. The smallest for me is a computer monitor. I’m still waiting for the day a true full pokemon game is ported to console or made for it. The last pokemon game I played was Black and I barely played it as I couldn’t get back into gaming on a handheld.
Willing to wait, just sad.
It’s funny, people complain if there are not enough games at launch, but if there were more, they wouldn’t buy all of them because it would be too expensive.
Like why would you release Skyrim and Zelda in the same month, doesn’t even make sense.
I remember when I brought a 3DS, it was because they’re had been a constant flow of games every couple of months for over a year. They were big hitters as well, super smash bros, Luigi’s mansion, Pokemon x and y, fire emblem etc.
If they do that for the switch, then they’ll eventually tip over the people on the edge of buying one.
Why release two big name games in one month? Because not every household is just one person using/buying games. Because not everyone is into the same games. I for one could care less about Zelda. My son loves it, so for him it would be an instant buy, but for me, there is nothing I want to play at launch. Looking at that chart there is nothing until Winter (splatoon 2! \o/) for me. So yeah, would be great to see a bigger title released along with Zelda.
Couldn’t care less*
If you could care less, then you do care about Zelda.
Well, I care about it coming out because my son loves it and wants it and it will make him happy and I care about that. So technically I could care less if he wasn’t interested in it either, but yes, my mistake. ;p
I’d have been way happier if they just thrown in Mario Kart or Splatoon 2 or something for launch too.
Zelda will keep 99% of fans occupied for a while but a decent multiplayer game to go with it would have been great.
Bomberman is the best multiplayer game ever!
Bomberman 64 was a great single player game. Hopefully this one follows suit.
I have fond memories of that game. No way it would hold up now though. I’ve never played one of the grid ones before, that will take some getting used to.
So 1 game (which is also out on the wii U) and some mini games on day 1? Good job Nintendo
Nothing really interesting in the list for me. Pass
Oooooh, didn’t know Fast RMX would be out within the first month; if I had the cash, TLoZ:BotW and that would sate me for quite some time.
Edit: The launch offering is small but let’s be frank, it wouldn’t matter what Nintendo did at launch because they are the whipping boy of the industry.
Man only 1 proper game being released on launch. I really want this to succeed but nintendo are really doing themselves no favours.
I will wait and see.
