Today in #CoupleGoals, we present Kristen Bell and her husband Dax Shepard getting glammed up for grain.
After presenting at the Golden Globes earlier in the week, The Good Place actress chose to shun the glamorous after parties in favour of some Settlers of Catan action.
Another Instagram shot from last week shows the couple celebrating Shepard’s birthday with the building of colonies.
As someone who exchanged board game shaped presents with her partner at Christmas, I wholeheartedly approve of this entire situation.
Best after party ever.

I can’t help but put my nerd hat on and point out that Catan is a 3 – 5 player game.

Also, fans have developed a 2 player variant.
That’s true for the second shot (there’s three colours on the board), the second shot. The top photo looks like they’ve discarded all but two colours (it is in setup phase, so maybe not).
I think the photos a great, and hate being *that guy* just want to flag that if people are looking for a game to play with their SO, go for something else over the two player variant of Catan. As an entry level game, Carcassone works much better with two.

isn’t there an official 2P variant which involves running two extra ‘AI’ players to simulate a looser 4P game?
