Are Your PC’s Electrons Good Enough For Ghost Recon: Wildlands?

System specifications! OK, not the most exciting topic, but it’s always good to have a bit of an upgrade heads-up before a major release comes out. If Ghost Recon: Wildlands has been on your radar, well, you now have all the info you need to decide if a trip to your local computer shop is warranted.

Unsurprisingly, the GeForce page doesn’t provide the equivalent AMD GPUs, though given the NVIDIA cards are the same as the ones for the beta, I’ve just added the AMD ones from that list:

Ghost Recon Wildlands Official Minimum System Requirements
CPU: Intel Core i5-2400S @ 3.3 GHz or AMD FX-4320 @ 4 GHz
GPU: GeForce GTX 660 [AMD R7 260X (2GB)]
VRAM: 2GB
RAM: 6GB
OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
HDD: 50GB free space

Ghost Recon Wildlands Official Recommended System Requirements
CPU: Intel Core i7- 3770 @ 3.5 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4 GHz
GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 or GeForce GTX 970 [AMD Radeon R9 Fury]
VRAM: 4GB
RAM: 8GB
OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
HDD: 50GB free space

Honestly? There’s nothing really shocking here. Still waiting for the day when Windows 7 drops of the minimum, though that probably won’t be the case until Direct3D 12 is the norm.
