Here’s Kojima And Other Veteran Devs Talking About How They Make Games

It’s part of a ten-part documentary series by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, and it’s free to view on YouTube.

Uploaded earlier today, the series is titled “The Game Makers: Inside Story” and is broken into parts about story development, environmental stories, integrating social themes and commentary into games, the future of interactive stories, the structure of game narrative, and more.

There’s plenty of big hitters featured throughout: Hideo Kojima, David Cage, Amy Hennig, Jade Raymond, Brian Hastings from Insomniac Games, 343’s Kiki Wolfkill, and more. You can view the whole series by going to the AIAS’s YouTube channel. They haven’t set up a separate playlist for the videos, although the first episode is embedded above.
