New Horizon: Zero Dawn Patch Fixes ‘Issues When Playtime Exceeds 200 Hours’

Today, Sony released a new patch for Horizon: Zero Dawn that makes a bunch of improvements including quest fixes, X-axis inversion, and, most pivotally, a fix for “game running into issues when playtime exceeds 200 hours.”

I don’t know what those issues are, exactly — Sony hasn’t responded to my request for comment — but I do know that, because Horizon: Zero Dawn came out 21 days ago, you’d have to play an average of nine and a half hours every day to hit 200 hours. So if you have run into this problem, I am extremely impressed.
