With a PlayStation teaser having already leaked in the past week, EA has gone one step further this Easter Sunday by officially unveiling Star Wars Battlefront 2.
The game will be out on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 17, and will give players a taste of action as Kylo Ren, Luke Skywalker, and other characters from multiple points in the Star Wars timeline. As revealed earlier, there will be a singleplayer campaign featuring Iden Versio, the “commander of Inferno Squad”:
Forge a new path as Iden Versio, commander of Inferno Squad—an Imperial special forces unit equally lethal on the ground and in space. Encounter many of Star Wars ‘ greatest characters in a story of revenge, betrayal, and redemption that spans 30 years.
Battlefront 2 will be part of the official Star Wars canon, and is set between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. You can find out more on the official website.

Damn…if this comes out with some sort of crazy special edition I’m gonna be torn between that and Destiny 2 :/
Looks fkn awesome.
Don’t you effing dare. My poor wallet … it hurts …
It’s so hard to choose though…unless Destiny2 has that stupid crosshair position in which case it’ll be an easy decision.
Cautiously curious but won’t buy it if the PC population follows like the first game, where it was dead within a few months.
Hopefully there’s actually a game there this time to back up all of the Star Wars goodness. The first one was fun for a couple of nights play, but that was about as fat as it went. Got old very quickly.
I suspect that is intentional. Just enough gloss and jizz for people to buy, but deliberately short on longevity so they can shuffle you on to the next big TM.
Will it have more PSVR?
The battlefront VR experience is my childhood dream come to life. Will there be more?
