June’s Xbox Live Games with Gold has a solid lineup, including Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed III. In addition to the usual four games, subscribers can also get multiplayer DLC for last week’s Phantom Dust.
As always, these games are only “free” if you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription.

Wish PSN would go back to having interesting older triple a titles instead of constant indie titles.
To be fair, PS+ already had Assassin’s Creed 3 back in 2013.
Yeah, but the Xbox line always seems to just have better titles and better yet backwards compatibility means that some of the time you even get classics.
and DA:Origins in 2015
Yeah but ever since PS4 launch there has been practically zero AAA titles (Injustice 1 being the exception, and that was a re-release). I’ve been quite fond of the indie titles we’ve gotten but even so, an old AAA here and there would be appreciated.
Agree I’d like some more AAA,but I’d rather have a good indie game than a bad AAA game.
In addition to Injustice, we’ve also had Infamous First Light, MGS Ground Zeroes (admittedly those two were kind of small scale AAA games, but still AAA), NBA 2K16, Lords of the Fallen, LittleBigPlanet 3, Tearaway Unfolded and probably a few others that I can’t remember.
But yeah, the PS3 glory days of PS+ are long gone and I doubt they’ll be coming back.
Well I’ll be, you are correct we have had those! I guess it didn’t stick in my memory because I wasn’t interested in any of them. Well, MGS but I’d already purchased that.
They don’t need to offer as good a value any more because they’re holding your multi-player access hostage.

I just f**king bought Dragon Age: Origins this weekend. F****************k!!!
You may be able to get a refund for it if you contact Microsoft quickly enough.
Dragon Age: Origins HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I’ve played Inq. can anyone provide their individual subjective opinion on DA:O ?
Its a better focused, more interesting story than Inquisition and the best game in the series IMO.
That said, the first hour or so is a drag and i dont know how its aged.
It wasn’t the best on console either I don’t think.
Played the shit out of it on PC though
I played the 360 version. It was a biy jankey but otherwise fine. It will have aged worse.
It’s my favourite game of all time. Looks a bit like arse but the gameplay, story, characters etc. are all super solid. Highly recommended.
Thanks people, I’ll give it a go (but I’ll blame each of you if I don’t like it!)
Assassins Creed III makes me want to take a very blunt, rusty object and jam it into one of my orificies and apply pressure. A stunning example of the extremes of the franchise when you take away the ‘Assassin’ part of it (AC3 vs. Black Flag).
Black Flag was a pretty good pirate game.
Oh, it was as Assassin’s Creed game? I don’t remember that part.
