Injustice 2 Comeback “Worse Than Golden State Blowing A 3-1 Lead”

It can often seem like you’re out of your league in online games like Injustice 2. With their back against the wall and a sliver of health left, Flash player Honey Bee CMNDR looked all but out of it, until they flipped the switch and ran it all the way back on a very unsuspecting Robin.

The video (via Twitter) shows Honey Bee, as they go from utterly down and out to in full control of the game. Persevering through several clashes and even taken down to pixels of health, Honey Bee managed to get the win.

Social media was not kind to the Robin player:

Some think it was staged, which to be fair, is totally possible. Robin could have easily chipped down Flash, or used his health lead to armour through some attacks and trade blows for the win. On the other hand, these comments have the benefit of 20-20 hindsight — in Robin’s shoes, I’d probably be panicking and frantically trying to jab my way out of a hole as well.

Maybe next time, Robin.

      • If it wasn’t staged then the Flash player was definitely throwing about 95% of the match.

        • This. He didn’t even move much until he was almost dead, then a series of amazeballs moves. Even the Robin player is still making attacks while getting pwnd, the Flash for the first part was just getting whooped.

          • This is most likely because he Robin has some cancer mid to low game. The flash player was probably hoping to tease out a commit that never really happened and instead just got repeatedly juggled instead.

  • I really like this game….but I don’t get why fighting games often focus so much on juggling players in the air like this. It looks stupid IMHO and take s little skill once you know the combo. Hit the player in the air…spam the combo. I’m good at it…but I hate how it’s required to win high level matches.

Wouldn’t the game be much better if they nerfed air juggling? I mean really……when you watch a game of the top players, they make one or two mistakes in a round and it’s all over red rover.

I’d rather fighting games focus on the fighting techniques of each character beyond air juggling.

Air juggling used to be a thing that was a by product of a game design. Sure players can use whatever they like to win…….but it was always seen as almost a glitch.

These days, they design games and characters specifically around it.
