Travellers arriving at Kansai International Airport in Osaka will soon be greeted by Nintendo characters plastered all over the place.

Starting June 23, Nintendo is setting up what it's calling the "Nintendo Check In" at the airpot's Terminal 1 with Switch, 3DS, and smart device titles.

The airport is also slipping on some huge Nintendo banners and decking out elevators in Super Mario characters. All this makes jet lag less awful!

Nintendo is a good look for Japanese airports.

Really is Kansai International Airport in Osaka really having a Nintendo Check in with a cast of Nintendo characters? Well I actually would like to see the Nintendo Check in at Melbourne International Airport which is meeting Nintendo's plastered characters before flying off to Japan in 2020 to celebrate the opening of Super Nintendo World opening at Japan's Universal Studios in Osaka but hopefully Nintendo will have their Nintendo check in at Melbourne International Airport because I would actually like to meet Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Bowser Jr Princess Peach and Yoshi before I head off to Japan in 2020.
