Life Is Strange: Before The Storm's First Episode Drops In August

Get ready for a hella teen time in Life is Strange: Before the Storm, a prequel starring Chloe and Rachel before the events of the first game. There will be three episodes total, with the first one releasing on August 31st.

Here's the very dramatic first trailer:

The question is: will there be time travel this time around? Or some other supernatural power? If nothing else, I can't wait for Rachel to rip my heart out, given that we know how everything ends up. :)

And this just reminds me that I still need to play the first one. I've owned it for a few months now, but haven't had the time to get to it.

I don't want to be one of those people that gush about it so much that it puts people off, but definitely play it. It has issues, it's far from perfect but it's a pretty amazing game if you can get over those little hurdles.

I made a review of the game here if you're sitting on the fence https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X848mX6msl4&t=2s

so this isn't the one by Dontnod right?

I guess I'm down for more Life is Strange content, the first was actually pretty awesome

There is a behind the scenes video to go with the trailer:

The game isn't being developed by Dontnod, and won't have the time travel mechanics of the first. Ashly Burch, the voice actress for Chloe, is a story consultant.

So I guess we've got both this and the sequel Dontnod is working on to look forward to. I just hope this one doesn't come out like Arkham Origins.
