While mucking around with mechanics for a project they were working on, one team of developers decided to try something: bringing the NES classic Duck Hunt into VR.
The clip has been floating online for a while, but The Distraction Lab’s efforts went unnoticed for a while. The company’s been rather quiet on Twitter and their Youtube account has only two videos and 9 subscribers.
That’s not a lot to boast of, but I imagine they’d get a lot more fans if they put time into this. It’s basically just a little test of gun mechanics, with the classic Duck Hunt look.
And also dual pistols and grenades.
Nintendo would never be OK with this, but God. Can you imagine. Surely a developer out there has to take this idea and run with it.
