Yesterday’s ScribbleTaku was a bit left of centre. Eventually Casual Prolix spotted the game as Abuse, a side-scrolling platformer from the mid 90’s that shipped with its own level creator. Real good game. Unappreciated gem, I think.
Anyway, let’s see how you all go with today’s game. And I promise it’ll be something a little more recognisable.
Good luck!

Oh no.
Is that James Cameron’s Avatar: The Video Game?
No, it’s not The Division
??? Er, I don’t get it. I didn’t guess that game.
Ubisoft’s making the next Avatar game and the studio that did The Division is working on it (and it’s an open-world sort of thing)
OK, I didn’t know that. I was thinking of the original one in 2009.
But thanks for heads up.
Star Ocean 3?
Looks like Isaac Clarke’s back mounted health display from the Dead Space series. Complete with pips for special abilities.
And did the presence of what amounts to control over time seem anachronistic to anyone else? Seems like that tech could have been better used elsewhere rather than giving it to space mechanics.
