The Wolf Among Us 2 Comes Out 2018

Finally. All the lobbying has paid off. If you’ve been waiting for a follow-up season to The Wolf Among Us, you’ll only have to wait … well, another year.

Telltale announced that Bigby Wolf and co. would be returning for a second episodic season in 2018 through YouTube, in a video that outlined some of their plans for the next 12 to 18 months. The Wolf Among Us is obviously a drawcard, but it was coupled with announcements on two other titles. A second season of Telltale’s Batman series, titled The Enemy Within, would be available from August 8.

The fourth and final season of The Walking Dead, meanwhile, will launch next year. Clementine will return as a major playable character as well, although that’s not quite as exciting as finally having another Bigby story.

It’ll be interesting to see a story that revolves more around Bigby’s desires than Snow White, which always felt like the biggest failing of The Wolf Among Us. It wasn’t a story about the Big Bad Wolf as much as it was a story about the political machinations of Fabletown – and as fun as that was, it’s not quite as enjoyable as watching Bigby turn everything to shit.

The Wolf Among Us 2 will launch next year, as will the final season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead. The first season of Batman: The Enemy Within will drop on August 8.
