Microsoft had its Gamescom conference this morning, and showed off a bit more of the Xbox One X and what it’s capable of. Good times.

Don’t see Destiny 2 on that list. But that may be because it doesn’t need “enhancing” because it was already built for it natively?
It’s because of Sony! Limiting D2 to 30fps as well, plus no visual enhancements so there is not a superior console version appearing.
That said, I already have the Scorpio on order and I look forward to calling it Hank.
Wut? Bungiesaid they won’t be making either game run better because both console needs to be the same or else it would have been 60fps ages ago on PS4Pro release.
Pro can’t do more than 30 fps and that is why it is capped. PC does not have the same “limitation” imposed.
Sony is really starting to tick me off.
Lol please, has nothing to do with Sony. Could easily do it but people will get butthurt like now
Bias runs high with this one.
The under-powered CPU architecture common to both ‘enhanced’ consoles is the limiting factor, nothing else.
It’d be better to blame Bungie for that one. The limitation is caused by the PS4 and Xbox One and their much higher market share.
The PS4 Pro and Xbox One X would be able to handle Destiny 2 at 60fps.
The digital foundry guys said it was definitely locked at 30fps on ps4 pro
But isn’t that a case of Microsoft and Sony’s ‘base’ consoles holding the premium consoles back?
Bungie’s logic is to lock all consoles (base and premium) to 30fps to remove any potential advantage that 60fps players would have.
Interesting that there is no Battlefields or Call of Duty’s on the list…
Turns out seeing Darksiders 3 on this list is even more exciting than the console itself!
You can tell I have somewhat strange taste in games by virtue that the title really jumping out at me from this list is Dynasty Warriors 9, a series hardly renowned for graphics (and one that doesn’t tend to get ported to xbox all that often either outside of the main titles!). Wonder if this means this version will have even more cannon fodder on screen at a time? 😀
Anyone else find it weird they put “fable 4” down
Do you mean Fallout 4?
Whats a guy gotta do for some 60fps Dark Souls 3 on consoles 🙁
Decent list! Does the One X enhance the games directly from the disk or do you need to download a huge update / enhanced version to play them?
