There’s no special event or celebration for the discounts, beyond everything on offer being under $30. There’s plenty of quality available for under $10 and $20 as well, including The New Order and the remastered edition of Divinity: Original Sin.

Might be finally time to give Deus Ex: Mankind Divided a go.. I’ve been holding off for a while now.
Is it worth getting Elite Dangerous at that price? Or better to get the deluxe version with the season pass for $50? Is that Horizons expansion worth the extra money?
I’d say its worth it. Look at reviews of the game though, its a grindfest. A space trucker game in every sense. I’ve got about 400-600 hours on the PC version, all in VR, so console mileage might vary.
I probably put more hours than that into the Commodore 64 (and, later, Amiga) versions of the original 30-odd years ago. I’m sure I can handle the grind 😀
Bigger issue is where do I fit it into my backlog… 🙁
I’d get Horizons just for the extra content. The base game is pretty sparse for the most part – even with Horizons it’s still very grindy and most of the fun is emergent with other players.
Do I pick up Horizon Zero Dawn ($45 on sale) or Prey?
Prey I would need to buy locally for $30..
Stuck deciding between the both..
Also I picked up The Evil Within for $10 with these sales
Can’t say anything about Prey but Horizon Zero Dawn is fantastic I thought it was well worth it.
I vote HZD. Smashing!
For me, Horizon Zero Dawn is a no brainer if you like open world games. It blew me away and would be sitting high up, if not on top, of my favorite games of all time.
HZD is objectively the ‘better game’ – but I enjoyed Prey much more.
I got both Horizon: Zero Dawn and Prey at the same time with a PS4 Pro bundle. HZD is an amazing game and I put 120 hours into it before even looking at any other PS4 games. I tried Prey next and still haven’t got into it. HZD is definitely worth the extra $$ in my opinion.
Prey is a ridiculously underrated game, it’s well worth your money.
Horizon is good too, so the answer is both.
You’re costing me more money mr_scratch! haha..
Only really have time for one with so many titles about to drop; Uncharted Lost Legacy (which comes with Jak & Daxter), Destiny 2, Southpark Fractured, Wolfenstein, The Evil Within 2, COD etc
Glad next year gives us a few months before big title drops
Sniper Elite 3 ULTIMATE EDITION for $9.45 seems like an absolute bargain….I’m very tempted.
Anyone rate it?
I haven’t played 3 – but played 2 – I found it fun. I’m assuming 3 would also be fun.
