Street Fighter‘s awesome tile-matching spin-off is getting a sequel, and everybody’s invited. Capcom’s announced an all-new Puzzle Fighter game coming to Android and iOS devices later this year.
In the new mobile Puzzle Fighter players collect fighters from all corners of Capcom’s pantheon — Street Fighter, Mega Man, Dead Rising, Resident Evil, Darkstalkers and more — and use their signature abilities to take on the computer or other players in fast-paced puzzle matches.
The game makes its playable debut this weekend at PAX West and is set to soft-launch in select regions soon, with global release planned for late 2017.
Yeah yeah, it’s a free-to-play mobile game. I’ll take more Puzzle Fighter wherever I can get it.
