Ahh, spring. The time for picnics and planting flowers. It’s also the time for some big releases in video games.

October 27. I’m dying.
I might have to ‘work from home’ that day.
Plus Stranger Things Season 2
Plus it’s my birthday!

Missing the PC release for Ys VIII (should be out already but it got delayed last minute to some time in October) and the PC & PS4 release for Tokyo Xanadu ex+ (should be november-december timeframe).
If stuff like Culdcept and Axion Vierge count as ‘big releases’ those should too.
Oh and don’t forget Etrian Odyssey 5 some time before the end of the year (US release is mid October, AU/EU not dated yet beyond that it’ll be this year)
According to gamefaqs it has a release date of the 20th December in Europe. Safe bet we’ll see it around the same.
Oh and Blue Reflection is this week (Sep 26 US, 29 AU/EU), Nights of Azure 2 last week in October as well, if you like your more obscure JRPGs.
Nioh’s last DLC is out today?! \o/
Otherwise, a surprisingly light end to the year – only looking forward to three DLCs (Nioh, HZD, and Destiny 2’s first DLC in December) and 2-3 games (South Park, Wolfenstein and maybe AC:Origins). No complaints, mind you – backlog is still way out of hand.
RIP my wallet.
Mr BS that goes the same for me October 27 means I’m dying to play Super Mario Odyssey for the Nintendo Switch and I can’t wait to go on a new Mario adventure with his friend Cappy. November 7 also means I’m dying to play Sonic Forces for Nintendo which will include the special DLC costumes for my custom avatar from past SEGA games like Jet Set Radio, Super Monkey Ball, Nights, and even Shin Megami Tensei’s Persona 5. Because I hope the Shin Megami Tensei game will be Persona 5 for Nintendo Switch early next year and free DLC to play as Shadow The Hedgehog even better. November 14 means I’m definitely going to work in investigation and interrogations for clues and questioning suspects and eyewitnesses to see if they are telling the truth or if they’ve got something to hide. That will involve working as an LA police officer and as a detective working in homicides vice and arson all set in the heartfelt city of Los Angeles dating back to the year 1947 in Rockstar Games and Team Bondi’s crime thriller L.A Noire for Nintendo Switch. I can’t wait to play L.A Noire when it comes out on November 14 later this year. Now January 30 next year is getting me excited for all 100 minigames. You heard me right Nintendo have searched through thousands of Mario Party minigames from 10 classic Mario Party games to see which of the best minigames will be listed as the top 100 in Mario Party Top 100 for Nintendo 3DS. I can’t wait to play the Mario Party Top 100 for the Nintendo 3DS which is going back to relive my childhood memories when the game comes out on Nintendo 3DS early next year.
.hack//G.U. Last Recode (PS4) – November 3
Mario Party: The Top 100 | 3DS
C’mon! Why not the SWITCH!
The evil within 2. Mega excited!
Yuuuup. Fuck my wallet.
Nioh’s final DLC pack has me pretty excited to get back in there, as does Total Warhammer 2 (which I believe is actually out today or last night, not tomorrow?).
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen on the PS4 is a guaranteed buy for me, and will probably still be super into playing that and torn about getting into Shadow of War.
Destiny 2 on PC seems to be worth a look-in to play with my family, Wolfenstein 2 and AC: Origins are no-brainers, CoD:WW2’s campaign will never go down in price so I might as well play on release, and awwwwyeeeaaah, Horizon Zero Daw expansion is ALL of the hype. Probably gonna have to splash out on buying a thousands dollars worth of Sims 4 shit for the GF so she can finally start playing it, now that there are pets.
RIP wallet indeed.
