If you haven’t played Gone Home yet, or at least haven’t played it on your couch, you can have the teenage feels in October’s Xbox Live Games with Gold. As always, these games are only “free” if you have an active Xbox Live Games with Gold subscription.
October’s Games with Gold are:
Xbox One
- Gone Home: Console Edition (October 1-31)
- The Turing Test (October 16-November 15)
Xbox 360 (compatible with Xbox One)
- Rayman 3 HD (October 1-15)
- Medal of Honour: Airborne (October 16-31)

Titles have been shite for some time now.
Got Trials Fusion last month. Wasn’t displeased about that…
Gone home is one of the most unique gaming experiences I’ve had in years.
Truly beautiful. Top tier story telling.
I keep telling people I know to play it but they don’t listen.
Sure, it doesn’t have a load of replay value and it’s not a long game, but it’s super engaging and emotive without relying on any gimmicks.
I struggled with Gone Home. It was one of the PS+ games a few months ago (last year maybe?) I tried to give it a go, but other games kept taking my interest.
I did enjoy throwing random items around the house, though :p (I do want to give it another go, but I have a big backlog of games)
Try What Remains of Edith Finch on Steam.
Uggh
Medal of Honor really?
This is probably the most awful month I’ve seen and I lived through the Pool Nation FX months
I think that Airborne was really underrated. It’s certainly the last WW2 FPS that I gave a shit about lol.
