Manga artist Yoshihiro Togashi is well known for taking breaks. And it appears that’s exactly what he’s doing once again. That’s right, Hunter x Hunter is going back on hiatus.
Via the Hunter x Hunter Hiatus Chart, here is how the manga’s publication run has looked:

As Kotaku previously reported, Togashi’s longest Hunter x Hunter publication streak is 30 issues, while his longest hiatus is 80 issues.
He recently returned to serialisation on June 26, but according to Buzz News, he will take yet another break starting September 4.
The title of the most recently release Hunter x Hunter chapter, no. 369, is “Limit.”
The 51-year-old Togashi suffers from back pain and is quoted as saying, “I will return this year.”
Until then, fans will have to wait, which is something to which they have grown accustomed.

I didn’t even know he was back. Maybe at this point he should just do some scripts, and have someone else polish the script and do all the art instead. He keeps forcing himself to come back even though it just hurts his health further.
He’s meant to comeback by the end of the year. Apparently his back is much better as he has taken regular exercise, so I’m guessing the new DQ game recently releasing has more to do with it or seeing that he’s upped the quality of his drawings he probably trying to gain a few chapters before releasing more.
