Modder Crams Two Zelda Games Into Mario 64

“Why not?” It’s such a simple question, yet it’s led humanity down all sorts of interesting pathways and also to the brink of destruction and back on multiple occasions. Now, finally, we’ve arrived at our pinnacle: Somebody managed to cram both Nintendo 64 Zeldas into Super Mario 64.

SKELUX is a developer who enjoys creating new areas, items and even tools for classic games such as Mario 64. Among other things, they decided to collect the models for Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask and turn their full overworld maps into Mario 64 levels. It’s pretty wild. Here’s Ocarina:

This is very impressive, but SKELUX has also locked themselves into a binding contract with the internet that requires them to cram Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild into Mario 64 as well. Good luck with that!
