Detective: City Of Angels Is Basically LA Noire: The Board Game

Taking its inspiration from LA Noire, The Big Sleep and LA Confidential, Detective: City of Angels is a board game about a team of detectives working to solve crimes and bust mobsters.

The catch being that one of the detectives is crooked, and is trying to stall and mislead the investigations along the way without being discovered.

Crimes are solved by questioning witnesses and suspects, moving around town searching for clues and taking kickbacks, with a time limit on proceedings before the case goes cold.

I like the idea, and how it translates LA Noire’s interrogations to the board game world. I love Vincent Dutrait’s art, though. It’s absolutely perfect.

Detective: City of Angels has passed its Kickstarter funding goal, so you can get a copy here.
