Originally announced in 2011 as Lineage Eternal, this years-in-development massively multiplayer online role-playing game gets a new trailer and a new name.

Called Project TL (“TL” means The Lineage), the game is now being developed on Unreal Engine 4. I’m assuming the title is a temporary one. The game is supposed to be a sequel to the first Lineage game (Lineage 2 is, of course, a prequel).

The new trailer doesn’t have a release date. It will be out one day. Hopefully!

  • Oooooh yes. Lineage 2 was good times. Can’t tell whether that was in-game. If it was, definitely looked like a bit more of a Diablo-esque style to it than MMO. Will keep an eye on it.
Might be more functional considering it’s in UE4 now as well.

  • Will stay tentatively positive, the last five yeara have seen NC act pretty gluttonous and I have no intention of feeding the horrible beast.
