PUBG Hits Xbox On December 12

Keen to play some PUBG on console? You’ll only have to wait six weeks.

Microsoft announced early this morning that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, affectionately known as PUBG, would be coming to the Xbox on December 12. The 1.0 version of the game would also be dropping on PC shortly thereafter, according to a post on the Xbox Wire.

“Both versions are being developed at the same time, but they both have their own separate roadmaps,” PUBG Corp chief executive Chang Han Kim wrote.

“Various Xbox One features and functionality will change and come online over time just like they have on PC, with our goal being to have both versions align to each other as soon as possible.”

Beyond that, however, the PUBG experience should be fundamentally the same. Little bits and pieces might change – recoil, different level of effects, Xbox One X patches, and so on – but you’ll still be able to talk shit in Pachinki on Xbox come Christmas.
