Big W Has Some Solid Christmas Deals Too

Yesterday we covered some of the discounts available at EB for Christmas. Big W is getting in on the action too, and it's worth checking out.

There's a good mix of hardware bundles and discounted games. These prices are coming from the catalogue that a postie half-heartedly jammed into my letterbox, so you'll have to duck in-store if you want any of these prices. Stock will vary from location to location.

Let's start with the hardware first:

PS4 Slim 500GB Console: $289
PSVR Bundle w/VR Worlds and Farpoint: $439
Switch Bundle w/Super Mario Odyssey, NBA 2K18 and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle: $499
New 2DS XL Bundle with Luigi's Mansion 2 or Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D or Yoshi's New Island: $199
Xbox One Minecraft Pig/Vine Controller: $85
Xbox One Controllers (updated models): $79
PS4 Dualshock 4 (White/Red/Blue/Black) Controllers: $75

Not too bad. The Switch bundle isn't the cheapest but Odyssey and Mario + Rabbids is an A+ pairing over Christmas.

As for the games:

Uncharted The Lost Legacy (PS4): $34
Battlefield 1 Revolution (PS4/XBO): $34
Star Wars Battlefront 2 (PS4/XBO): $49
FIFA 18 (PS4/XBO): $49
Sonic Forces (PS4/XBO): $49
Knack 2 (PS4): $34
Need for Speed Payback (PS4/XBO): $49
Wipeout Omega Collection (PS4): $29
Sonic Forces (Switch): $49
FIFA 18 (Switch): $49
Call of Duty WW2 (PS4/XBO): $64

Good price on Wipeout, although it's part of the 2 for $40 deal you can get digitally through PSN right now. But the Switch bundle is nice, FIFA is at a good price if you have a sport-loving fan in your household, and Lost Legacy is well worth the pickup.

Comments

Hey guys, the switch bundle in the catalogue isn't marked "and", it's "or" - so you get to pick out of one the three games. I got pretty excited until I looked the catalogue up online.

The Switch bundle listed isn't on the website, is this an in-store only deal yo?

Battlefront sure dropped in price incredibly fast.

...Xbox One Pig/VINE controller? It's not like Minecraft is some little unknown niche game... it's a Creeper controller, not a vine...
