Atlus’ cult PS3 hit Catherine is being remade for the PS4 and PlayStation Vita, the publisher announced today.
First released in 2011, Catherine wasn’t just a pretty good action/puzzle game; it had a stylish, confident approach to sex and adult relationships that remains fresh even today.
Persona 5 director Katsura Hashino is in charge of the project — called Catherine FB (for Full Body) — and Famitsu reports that there’ll now be a third Catherine in the game (the original had two endings for two different paths the player could choose).

There were three endings in the original. The ending with neither of them was the best 😀
I think there are up to 9 endings. Pretty sure there were 9 different trophies for the various combination of endings.
Three archetype endings with varying degrees of good/bad for each I think it was. I could be wrong.
Man this was a good game. Got it free ages ago on PS+. Wouldn’t never have played it if I wasn’t given it… Silly me
FFS. Just make new games, developers. I’ve played this already. I don’t want to feel like my experience with it is lessened because some people fan fic’d the story to have a 3rd Catherine.
So over remakes.
Atlus have around four original games being released next with another one in 2019. That’s just what they are developing, not including what they are acting as publisher for.
The puzzle nature of Catherine really suits the Vita, so

PS Vita lives!
The Vita, eh? I’d make a joke about that, but I’m pretty sure you already know what it is.
I’m a little surprised that they’ve chosen not to put it on the Switch.
